A Letter From Professor Liborio
I started my martial arts career in 1971 at 4 years old when I took my first judo class, which was very popular in Brazil.
And since then, I've spent the last 40+ years teaching some of the most accomplished martial artists in the world and building some of the biggest teams along the way.
Working through the levels… from being a white belt, assistant instructor, Black Belt under Carlson Gracie, and GYM owner…
All the way up to becoming a 6th-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and co-owning several international martial arts teams… one with over 100 licensed schools across the world (Brazilian Top Team & American Top Team).
In my competition days, I was honored to win the first-ever Jiu-Jitsu World Championships in 1996 in Brazil and was voted most technical Black belt under Carlson Gracie. I have also competed in MMA, Gi and No-Gi, Wrestling, and Judo.
I also was fortunate enough to win the Brazilian Nationals three times, medaled twice in the ADCC's (the Olympics of Grappling), and was voted NAGA coach of the year in 2003.
In 2016 I was blessed to work with the US Olympic wrestling team in Rio De Janeiro which was a massive success.
Through all these wonderful experiences, something was missing, and that something was an easily learned martial arts curriculum with character education and life skills infused into the program in every class. And so, we developed a NEW program ourselves with my and my teams' years of experience.
